how many turns of the key are needed to start your nytro

Mine takes 2-3 turns of the key for a first start of the day no matter if its 30* or -10*F. I also turn the key on and let the fuel pump cycle before trying to start it..I dont really find it to be an issue, my other ones do the same thing..

one turn down to -15celsius(5,0 fahrenheit) and 2-3 turns if its colder than that.(starts and cuts)

Guys stop talking about turn of keys. You should all know buy now you keep on the starter until it starts period. This is not a starter with a bendix like cars. Starter has a planetary gear. No harm if you leave it on and less chances for fowling. You can even break it of for some reason your engine backfires right after cranking like is happening on the Vipers.

-35C it took one time to fire. The next day at -25C it took two times. Figure that's not bad for the original 3 year old battery and stock relay

Mine fired in two tries at -25F. I think I was colder then the sled was. haha

Mine used to always start on 2nd turn, always wait til pump is done fogg'n, this year after changing plugs, 3 turns...
