Got enough snow to play around on and my sled currently has 400 miles on it. I have the Big Venom clutch kit installed and it goes right to 8600rpm range with the Gates Carbon 8jp and stays there past 90mph. I'm tapping the limiter on launch a touch but I really haven't found a good place with a firm base yet to test launch rpm. I'm thinking about leaving the weights alone if they will pickup another 200-300rpm in the next 1000 miles. I know my Phazer kept "loosening up" until ~1500 miles. Bringing up the "Max RPM" shows me hitting ~9325 when I tap the limiter off the line so I'm pretty sure I don't have the original 14' flash, what do the 15-16 and 17' flashes have for Max rpm?

Mine gets faster every year and I am right at 10000 mi!

Leave it ride,ride,ride!

Ok good deal. I should just run up there tomorrow and try it.

If you mean the new flash just be warned it may take two tries to start your sled after. Other than that the flash is a good thing meant to prevent kickback and starter failure. I got flash last season and have not had a issue other than I am a bit lean in cruising range now. Go for it.Ok good deal. I should just run up there tomorrow and try it.

Sounds like your getting decent speed already, mine started to loosen up between 700-900 miles, but like others are saying it keeps getting better and better every year as the miles pile onGot enough snow to play around on and my sled currently has 400 miles on it.
