how much is your sidewinder payment going to be?0 down and how many months?

No idea. Am using Yamaha credit for 1st 6 months and then financing locally. I couldn't decide on which other sled to trade, so no help there. I do intend to sock some $ away yet before Fall, however. Might not be much, but will at least be something to put down. Hopefully, I'm not in shock when the time comes.

$14k @ 0% is $241 +/-
$14k @ 5% is $266 +/-
$14k @ 7% is is $280 +/-
$14k @ 10% is $297 +/-

All based on 60 months.

Local credit union's payment calculator using their current advertised rate of 2.64% equates to $261.79/mo.

Did you guys really purchase a machine without any idea what the monthly payments were going to be? LOL! I wish I was able to be that care free...
I hate to admit it, but yes I did. I waited for the last few years to get a new sled. I have a sled to trade or sell for more down payment and will be paying off another loan prior to purchase. I was pulling the trigger with these factors in place.
If I had a few loans out there and other financial issues, I would not be purchasing or for sure would've had all of the details figured out. I certainly wouldn't say I'm care free, as this purchase puts my tow vehicle purchase on hold for at least another year. Oh well.

I did. Lol. I guess I don't wanna know either!

I sold my house & moved into a 500 square foot apartment. No lawn to mow, leaves to blow or snow to move...which means MORE time for new bike & hopefully snow will mean 4000 miles on new Winder that i will pay cash for. We call it "the stress free 500". I think the SNOW gods got my house sold just so i could buy this BEAST with no strings attached!

I agree I sold my house last September and have had 8 care free months with 0 bills. Then a momentary lapse of reason (thanks Floyd) now I am buying acreage with barns and 2 houses on a lake that my girlfriend doesn't want to move too
Do u hear bachelor pad????

Maybe i should move to Minneapolis & move in. Dump the girl, we'll get some girls on-line that own sleds & cook venison. I'll get a job fixing elevators in the city & rent one house. We can take the winter off & ride every day.......if i win the Lotto i'll give you a call.....until then....back to reality

Now there is a plan!!!! gonna build a 660' grass/snow track and 660' ice track on the lake when it freezes. It is going to be sled central and the state trail runs adjacent to the property if we ever get snow here again!

Oh and the rent is cheap!

Can i hunt nearby? Cuz i think elevator wages in Minn are about $50 an hour. A little fishing & hunting to supplement our winter riding excursions, we may have something here. I'd have to wait for son to graduate H.S. or ex to die first...but a boy can dream

When I was there yesterday there was about 150 # doe standing in the pasture under the tree I am putting my stand in. Now our deer are big but not quite as big as those found in Maine! I moved here from PA about 15 yrs ago and used to hunt in Patton Maine. Oh and the property boarders about 350 acres of state game lands.
