It's possible the bluetooth reciever on the communicator has failed. Kinda strange that the dash wouldn't work though seeing where that would be a wired connection. Any pins in the plug look wonky?
Mike is that plug fused?

I looked at the wires and they look solid. Its dark now and ill look again tomorrow. However, I pulled them and they are tight. Again I used a test light on the black wire and it lit up. Not sure what is the Bluetooth wire?
I was wonder on the fuse but used the test light instead

As long as the communicator has power the bluetooth should work. Do you have another phone to try? Did you have the ability to change the tunes via the app or dash previously?
I went back and re-read your first post. You said you reset everything. What exactly did you reset?

Only can change with app. It was less expensive was my main reason.
Have not tried another phone but it wouldn't be my phone even if it did work. It worked before so cannot imagine it's my phone. Just wondering if something blew in it

Phone, app and even reinstalled the firmware and flash and then updated the phone. That all worked. Still won't connect when plugged into sled
Ohh ok. So you don't have dash flash? It certainly could be the phone. I would not rule that out until you try another phone

Jesus ok ill do it right now
So after you try a different phone if that still doesn't work let's go back to the laptop. Plug the communicator in and download the files only. Unplug. Do no update the firmware yet. Go back to the sled and plug in the communicator, key the sled on and see if you can connect via bluetooth app.
