You will get live data visible on an IOS or Android device with it linked via Bluetooth, but you will need to purchase the data logging feature separately of you want to record and retrieve the data.

To answer a few questions...
The Mobile device does the recording.
There are 3 ways to view recorded data. Starting with the less used methods:
-Data can be exported in .CSV format. This can be used in Excel for example to display charts.
-PDF export which provide an image of the acquired data.
The third method which is the best and most used is done within the GAP Flasher/CoPiTrail Apps.
-Charts are easily manipulated, zoom, pan, add/remove a live value (RPM, Speed etc...), cursor, maximum speed etc.
-Logs can be shared to yourself, your tune provider or any other users with a flasher or CoPiTrail purchased from the same tuner.
-Shared logs can be viewed on any supported mobile device. For example, one can log with an iPhone/Android Phone, share it, and view the log on his iPad or Android Tablet.
Hope this helps.

I checked on my sled today. Flasher was unplugged and she started right up from her summer nap with no tender.
