I was holding it for roughly 20-30 seconds just figured it would pull to at least close to 100 not fall on it's face around 85
And I'm not sure how the seconds this done, hurricane turbo clutch kit is installed by the dealer before I picked it up
Just curious if you have your sled running good now? Sounds like you had some real problems at this point...

Glad to hear it's running well for you. Let us know how the top end speed is when you get back out on the snow!

I have a 2014 Blue/White RTX with hurricane 190 kit and clutching. I can not get mine over 90 MPH and is hitting rev limiter pretty bad. Any ideas? Should I try a new belt first? Thanks!

Ya so way late reply but I had it running good with the 1 3/4 track, it would do 90 mph on just about anything and about 100 mph on hard pack/ ice conditions. I lost all last winter due to a dealer problem (dealer fucked me over on warrntee a committed insurance fraud) (learned my lesson too don't switch sled switch sleds with a buddy - mine ended up in a tree) a but I got it back and am now running a 1.5 ripsaw track and regeared it 21/41 and she'll do 100 mph easy Havnt a had the greatest conditions to get a finial top. Speed yet... I know in the - 30 C temps we've been having it over revvd a tad but around - 10 or so it was revvng rright around 9100.

OK so I put a new belt on and broke it in. I am still bouncing off the rev limiter so I checked my max rpm and it is at 9300. Is this OK or what should I do? I am pretty mechanically inclined, I just don't know much about clutches. What else should I check or adjust? Thanks!

When are you bouncing off rev limiter? Full throttle at 100mph or on take off. It sounds like you need more tip weight. What weights are in your clutch kit. My hurricane kit has no tip weight and runs 8600-8800

I hit the limiter any time I run WOT. From the start, cruising at any speed, long pulls. Anytime I mash the throttle it bounces off the limiter many times until I let off. I honestly don't know what I have on it as I installed the kit and never messed with it because like I said I don't know much about clutches so I did not want to just start messing with things. When are you bouncing off rev limiter? That's strange! Did you make sure your clutches were good and clean with no binding when it was apart! Mine has one large tungsten washer/weigh in the heel of each weight from hurricane. I've since added a bit more but only for the hole shot
