Has anyone installed the hygear 141 pro linkage on your xtx? What’s your thoughts on it? Worth the money or better off buying shocks? My 14 doesn’t ride bad just looking at some summer projects. Thinking about the dual rate chambers. The instal video shows taking the skid out, looks like could be done in the sled? Would like to know real world experience with them before I spend the money. Don’t see them used very often so was guessing peope like them.

I sold my XTX with it on.. its night and day difference. It makes that XTX what is should have been. The Dual Chamber makes it easier to control. I thought the entire system could dance thru the bumps and road like a couch. You will loose some transfer but for trail it rocks.

Sounds like something to def look into. I enjoy the transfer right now. Seems about perfect, brings skis up about 6 inches and carries them until 60-70mph if you pin it.

It will still transfer but only maybe 1/2 of what you had before.

I was hoping it would keep the front down better than it did.. Only way for that, imo, is to change to the 137 skid that's fully coupled.
But it did certainly help out the ride! :hide:

I did mine with the skid in no problem. It is a world of difference and when you start getting north of 250 hp it's the only way it's rideable on trails. I used to wheelie 3' off the ground to 100 mph now it is manageable.
