I tried searching for this topic so if it has been, I apologize. Has anyone tried this kit? The Evol upgrade kit is more expensive plus it looks like a job to do. The Hygear kit looks like an easy set up. Would love to get the Elkas, but will have to wait until next year since I'm going with the Evolution Powersports performance upgrade this year.

They do work pretty well.. but you can call Ross at Hygear and ask him about them... the guy is on his game when it comes to shock technology and will answer all of your questions.

I installed them on my apex last year.
I loved them. Thought they were a great purchase for the money and very well designed
They allow you to set ride height independent from bottoming resistance.
If you are aggressive or ride whooped out trails they are a good addition. If your strictly flat groomed trails you wont really see a difference in the ride or performance
I was actually emailing with hygear last night because i want to swap the dual pressure kit off my apex and install it on my viper and need an adapter kit.

I ordered a kit. When I put enough air for good handling it was too stiff in the stutters.
