I don't get a lot of chances to race sleds out of our group. Today I run into a group that had two sleds on my list to race. First was a stock 09 Nytro. I have heard how quick these sleds are and wanted to run one. Well it was no race at all. He jumped me a sled but I drove by him by 30-40 mph and pulled hard on him. I was surprised, but I know that you can do a lot to wake a Nytro up. Second was a 2010 Crossfire 800HO. Long (136?)and deep lug track. He jump a sled and I run him down just after the mid range, and drove by and at a good pace. Second race on the way back I let him him hit it first and he got out 3 sleds. I took me about an 1/8 mile to run him down. I think the sled needed a little heat in the pipe to wake it up. Pretty surprised the old RX1 could beat the crossfire. I have heard how strong the 800 cats are and didn't think I had a chance.
