Lined them up on the lake this afternoon. He had about 70 miles on his 06 800 REV H.O. and I had about 220 miles on my STOCK APEX ER (Blue) with 144 studs. He got me out of the hole (he has 96 studs) and pulled out about 2-3 lengths. From 40-110m.p.h. I pulled a total of 6 lengths on him, he was amazed as was I. I ended up seeing 124 on the dream-o-meter and was about 3 lengths infront all the way through top end, he could not catch me. How much stronger will the APEX motor get? Right now it runs at about 10,500 and it is very strong. So far no problems except the inside bogey wheels. This is the best sled I have ever owned. The ride is outstanding, just wish the hand-warmers were colder. Happy Holidays.
Been der dun dat yesterday with the same sled with my attak cept I got him out of the hole & kept pulling. Raced a very well dialed in 05 800 PT with the break-in chip gone & he pulled me pretty good on top. They do get a lot faster when their break in chip flashes off.

Turk- Any clutch set ups you could share with us or still running stock?
I am still stock. Hit allmost 10,000 rpm today with stock clutching. Handwarmers were great at -8 but at -17 they suk! Gonna get a few more miles till I play with clutching. I have 3 set ups here all bolted on ready to go. Should have something positive by 2nd week in January.
