all Yamahas
But seriously wouldn't you think the factory storage bag on the LTX would be waterproof?? On any snowmobile for that matter?

love the sled and the power is awesome.... but WTF on the little things...

Both the small bag from 18 and the new bag this year I put on none of my group has had any issues. Not sure how people are getting water into these rubber coated bags

Just thinking about this, saw a few on shownroom floors where the bag wasn’t up tight to back of seat and the gas tank. Are those having issues maybe like that so all sorts of snow lays ontop of the cloth part of bag between bag and tank/seat and seaps in?

Oh no idea then. All the guys with vipers and sidewinders from 14-18 in our group and none with wet stuff in bags. Zippers aren’t waterproof but your dealing with snow and it
Can keep that and dampness out. I think Jaym is onto something with condensation.

It gets wet in the bags yes.

But realize these are Cats, NOT Yamahas.

I kept the small tunnel bag on my 17. I do not have moisture in there. And I go in daily before during and after rides getting #*$&@ to fix other peoples sleds. Try silicone around the fasteners.

Mine gets wet , but I just use ziplock bags . Yamaha needs to develop solid plastic base , and mounting on the outside of bag , like ski-dog has .

Mine stayed dry for a long time but I kept all the stuff in there for two years now and it is starting to get moist. so iduno.

Had a Skinz bag mounted right on the tunnel last year and it would get wet inside. This year have mounted Up North tunnel rack, which now keeps the bag off the tunnel and no moisture in the Skinz bag.
