I want to run a set of snow or ice scratchers this season on my attak gt whats everyone using? pro's con's.
Thanks

TRIC......You can back up with them down. Actually I just got them, so no opinion on their performance yet, but they do throw alot of snow! ;)!

got the simmons cooling fins on the skis. work great on keeping snow on hyfax and heat exchangers. Any downside would be the snowdust on anyone behind you.

i also have the TRIC scratchers,

good quality (ss cable) last forever

the point which contacts the ground is a standard track stud,

on icy roads they work good,

mounting is a breeze with all the hardware they provide

where can you get the tric scratchers? my buddy had the ones on the skis stupid snow cloud!

I believe the trick ones are the ones sold by Yamaha.

scratchers

Phazernut....I placed my order for ice scratchers the other day...I have your name on one pair..They will be shipped here just after Christmas...

Tric

I have just mounted mine to the sway bar. But what do you do with them when the conditions do not warrant there use?

- That's what I was thinking at first, then I thought...can you ever have "too much lube"??
- That's what she said... HA HA!!!! :-o

- Seriously though, we just got about an extra 3-5cms overnight, so I'll have a decent report on the scrathcers tonight.
- Just heading out now! :yam:

Just like being of the male gender.....still hangs there, even if you really don't need it at that moment.

I did grab a couple of tiny bungies for trailer loading, so I don't catch these on the edge of the door.
