Is anyone running the Ignition Module on their Turbo Viper and using the stutter/ 2-step?
How was the install?
Is the sled building a good amount of boost during the 2-step for better launch off the line?
How is it performing?

YamahaFreak, Shagman hooked his up and was having problems at first, but he left the sled with me and I was able to get it figured out with just a phone call.
Shag's turbo sled is working great with the 2-step and has a rev limit of 10,000. His sled is producing 1-2 lbs. on the 2 step and with adjustable timing has really improved his 60 foots. Install is very easy...it's just getting the right code. Took 4 codes to get it to work correctly.

I'm running it and it builds about 0.9- 1.2# boost at 2900 rpm on stutter. I am also take timing out off the line to reduce track spin. Install is easy. Plug and play but requires a PCV.

I think with the viper even if you're launching at 0#'s it's gonna launch hard. I have the setup for mine just waiting to put it on but will go on soon. I've heard of a few people having a little bit of a task to get everything working together properly but I'm sure power commander has great customer service

Just an added note....I also have it on my NA sled, works KICK #*$&@! Now I just have to change a few things with the EVO flash. Before I was having it kick in before the soft rev limiter, now I will be at the sam rev limiter as EVO

I can help you hook this up. I have Ignition Module, the button assembly with wiring, etc all on hand. I can also set your rev limiter as well.

Can you help everyone with a "code" for raising the rev limit on PC5 timing module?@NOS-PRO shoot me a PM with your PCV serial # and what RPM you want the takeover & rev limit at. I can have it back to you in seconds once I receive your serial # from the PCV.
Just got the PC5 and Timing module, but think i need to send a form with serial nr back to Dynojet to get the code.

What RPM's is everyone at on the stutter?
What's your engagement?
We installed one on my fathers Turbo Viper with the help from Allen Ulmer and haven't had any issues yet, stutter seems to be working great. Thanks for all the feedback.

Right now with the venom clutch kit I have, my engagement is 2,550-2,600 rpm and my 2-step is at 2,400 rpm. No matter where your engagement is, you want to be as close as possible to your engagement without actually jerking the sled forward or burning a belt while sitting there.

So really if you want your sled to absolutely rip off the line the clutch engagement would have to be higher and the stutter would have to be moved up??

Only if you have the traction to support the higher engagement. Also these engines have great torque. Since NOS has been racing his I'm sure he's tried all sorts of engagement speeds. I'm guessing he's found the lower engagement works best for his setup

Yes, the track I race on asphalt has some issues with traction most of the time so I have to really engage low so I don't spin the track on take off. You would think all that rubber on the asphalt would just grab....but the torque from the Viper is just nuts (even more now after the performance flash).
I will be testing this in snow also, but think the lower engagement won't spin the track as much. If you have chisels or ice picks racing on glare ice....I would raise the engagement and have the 2 step just under the engagement
