Arctic Cat is saying they have their belt issues fixed and arent/didnt have issues with the 800 belts. This is the result of running 2.5 runs down the pond at a distance of approx 1000-1200 feet. The belt only had 1100 miles on it and he hasnt raced much. Maybe this is good for a Cat belt but it isnt yamaha! It has all the clutch upgrades done on his 2013 XF800 ltd. He has been tormenting me all winter about my nytro (his old sled). I had ALOT of fun with this on facebook! When he saw me taking the picture he said 'no Steve dont....' LOL

To make this situation even better, the results when racing were:

1st run: He got me by about 2 lengths. (got me on the start)
2nd run: We ran ski to ski for about 1200 feet. I was pleased with these considering how fast everyone says these 800's are. I think we were close to the point where he would have started pulling away from me due to the extra HP.

I talked to guy that did all the same updates and the only thing that fixed his issue on his cat was aligning the motor... it was off over 1/2"..
now his clutch temps are down and he is getting long life out of the belts.

Half an Inch! No wonder they are blowing belts!
