The new to me used 162/16/2.5 track
Engine rebuilt, Carrillo rods, J.E. 9to1 pistons, Arp headstuds, Graves motorsports valve springs, Ape manual chain tensior, Ape adjustable camsprockets, Lakeside Motors ported the cylinder head. The cylinder head was replaced. The org head had alot cracks, the block was re nicasled by CV tech from Quebec.
Alpine Motorsports turbo nytro fuel tank, reason why I used it over the rev tank, 1st, its not a doo part, haha. There is alot more clearance, has 3 ports already installed, supply, return, vent. Uses the yamaha fuel cap, tank is narrower. Able to use a Mountain Mod seat that is from the nytro. The only problem with the alpine tank is, it is very long. Get to that problem when the engine is running.
I using the MCX intercooler cause the inlet is on the right side of the sled, with the Impulse setup, outlet of the turbo is the same. I Know lots of people dont think the mcx intercooler is big enough. I do, they were 1st to turbo game for sleds, being doing bikes since 85. They know there stuff! I have copied were the fuel pump, fuel reg goes. I dont like the look of air filters sticking out! Doesnt matter if its left of center, mid mount, rear mount turbos, all looks bad to me. So mine is under the hood. The hood that this sled will be using is alot taller than stock. There is 6 massive opens to the turbo to get air from. Not worried about hot air, & wont ever freeze the air filter up either.
I used photobucket, anybody know why the 1st, 2nd pic came out good size, then the rest are alot smaller? I have just about 0 clue with computers. Been just about 2months on/off trying to get pics online. I hate computers
