Was out riding tonight and flipped my intake air temp up. It said it was 58 deg. It was about 10 deg outside and was curious what everyone else is seeing.
I kinda thought I could use it like a thermometer and see what the outside temp is but I guess not.

Its in the airbox which draws air down low near motor. It gets real close when you are moving and fresh air is drawn into airbox.

When riding mine a few days ago my intake air temp was around that temp and it was -5 degrees at the time. Sled will respond well with some intake mods to get that temp down.

I agree. Needs some fresh air. If looking for power.

I'm sure there will be some great inexpensive kits out soon enough. Just adding some airbox vents will be an improvement. May not be noticeable on a trail or in the field but by that engine running cooler it'll be making more power

Multiple aftermarket guys/tuners are saying there's ALOT left on the table in terms of exhaust and intake...it think we're gonna see better gains than we did with the nytro's with the same type of mods!!

Wierd tonight I saw 07 f for air temp. I may just not look at that anymore since it was 20 f at time.
