Air intake

Has anyone tried adding vents to the front of the sled (in addition to the frog skin behind the bumper)? If cooler air is better I’m almost at the point where I may start putting some strategic openings at the front of my sled to get cold air into the airbox. But I don’t want to let snow, ice, water in.

Nytro09, if you don’t mind my asking, do you remember what the velocity stacks from Ulmer cost?

I just installed "The Icebox" Airbox mod from Barcode Performance. The air intake vent protrudes out of the sled on the right side using an outerwear prefilter. Looking forward to how it works.

How was the install on that?does it look like it might be pulling in lots of cold air?

Install was pretty straightforward. Good instructions come with it. Will need a hole saw. Pulling the radiator out first made the job much easier, at the expense of a little coolant. Looks like it should really pull in cold air, but won't truly know until I can ride and see what the air intake temp reads on the gauge.

Right on thanks
