What kind of intake temps are you guys seeing on average?

Got a good 215 mile test today on my hot air diversion today. I have only ever ran the the sled with the diversion so looking for intake temps with stock and any other altered or aftermarket intakes.

Left truck this morning and it was -1. I was seeing intake temps of 32 degrees. At end of day with temps in 20's intake temp hovered around 35-37 degrees. These readings were when cruising at around 50-60 mph.

I rode one day outside temp got up to 22f and my intake air temp was 85/86 f ltx se. Groomed ditches. sounds like your kit is a hit!!!

37 deg F intake at 14 deg F Ambient. With Excell system. Sounds like you are getting about same results. I am going to reverse my fan and foiled the airbox as a test. You have some promising results though for sure.

Did some more testing this weekend. When we left camp Sunday morning it was around 5 degrees and intake temp was running at 18 degrees. As day warmed up intake temps ranged from 18-24 all day long. Today when we left camp was -5. Lowest intake temp was again 18 so it appears that is the best I will see with diversion.

If we would stop for break and restart intake would be in 50-60 range but after few minutes of 40-60 mph riding it would drop back down into low 20's.

Any issues with your diversion in powder or snow dust, bumpy roads or vibration? Sounds like its going to be a hit. How long before you will sell em?
