I'm very happy with my viper, it's completely apart checking every nut and bolt and found nothing loose yet all the panels fit great wiring looks great too , so I guess if you aren't liking the price you could always get an apex for 15,000

Well it's a proven motor and a proven chassis so should be a good mix. So nothing is really new. I had a Nytro and loved it in fact had two, but totaled one. I test rode the Viper and loved it even before all of the updates. Way easier to ride and better handling. It probably won't be built as strong as the past Yamaha snowmobiles, but I think it will be pretty close. All top snowmobiles are expensive yes maybe 800's but also two strokes. I have not driven mine yet really only seen it but it looked really good. Waiting for some stuff before I pick it up. I think it is worth the money and will be a great sled. Plus if it sells good this year and ends up being a great sled the price won't go down next year anyway. Probably go up. Unless your buying a used one. Then who knows how it was taken care of...

Lol...there better not be! I don't think there will be anything major anyway. Every snowmobile has some little problem here or there. Whether it's new or not.

I'm very happy with mine. After having my sled for a couple weeks and 65 miles later and knowing now how the sled is and performs I would do it all again. Like stated about, if u are unsure on the viper u can spend $15k on an apex. I sno checked mine and feel I got a great price. If I had to pay retail it would still be worth it cuz it is truly the best engine and clutching on the market and worst case scenario it's the 2nd best chassis on the market. The sled performs awesome. Was unsure about the coupled suspension but I can see now that it's gonna be an awesome setup

What chassis do you feels the best? If this new chassis second?well new to Yamaha
I sure like how looks sitting in the garage and so does everybody who has come to look. I see now that the big storm is going well to the north of us and miss us like all seem to do. I will let you know if it looks as good come January when it still has zero miles on it. Geez I wish I lived out west.

I personally like this chassis the best. Only reason is because I'm not a skidoo fan and never will be. I love the looks of the procross chassis and performance is awesome. The magazines will state that the skidoo is the top riding sled. Maybe maybe not it all depends on the rider. I am getting so I love the feel of the coupled rear suspension. Makes for a great ride and awesome traction

Proven what? It's been quite unreliable in Cat's form.

How was the chassis unreliable? I've never heard of an unrealizable procross chassis. People blame cats belt issue on the chassis but its 95% the poor clutching.
