The two strokers will tell you all the things wrong with the Yamaha 4 stroke but have never owned one. Welcome to the club, now that you own one you'll see why the rest of us just smile at those comments.

WOW; That's a very long time to be with any manufacture, you must of really enjoyed your Doo's. As they sure have had some great rides as well over the past 30 Years. It must of been tough to give up the Yellow to come over to the Blue
I think it's the Uncertainty of just what to expect with a new Yamaha 4 Stroke, as you are in unfamiliar waters so to speak. You will notice a lot of very cool things with your new ride, that rear exhaust is still one of my favorite things as that throaty rumble coming out the back is just so . Not to mention NO 2 SMOKE oil to add your smell, as well as the fit & finish on your new Yamaha is the best in the market today. Your new experience with Yamaha should be a very pleasant one, keep us up todate on the comparison between the two manufactures and how you are enjoying your new Apex ER

Im a 20+ year EXDOOer myself....congrats on coming over to the best overal built sleds....
IMO all the other sleds are what I call "throwaway" sleds......Doos out of warrantee are just ticking time bombs IMO.
and dont let the yellow guys get to you with WEIGHT talk.....my apex rtx "FEELS" as light if not lighter then any of my MACHS.
