Replacing track and all bearings now putting things back together

Do i need to be concerened with the jack shaft positionon on the PTO side when tightening collar and lock nut because it moves.

I am thinking that when you put the chaincase together on the other side it will all align properly.

Tightening collar and lock nut in a pain in the #*$&@

Yes, put chain side together and the shaft will be in the right position. There are a couple of homemade tools on here that people have made out of pipe, etc to tighten the nut and collar. I milled one out of a standard 1" nut and it worked great because you can put a wrench on it.
