on the jackshaft bearing behind the secondary clutch is there a seal/ dust cover or is it a sealed bearing itself. i took mine apart and i think it has already been replaced by privious owner bc it looks like the shaft rubbed on the bearing holder and rubbed a groove. but my question was is it a sealed bearing or a dust cover

The Jackshaft bearing is a sealed bearing. Sealed bearings have "dust covers." You can remove the Jackshaft Bearing's seal w/o damaging it and reinstall it back in the bearing. I remove the outer seal, repack the PTO side Jackshaft Bearing each year and reinstall the seal w/o taking the Bearing off the shaft or out of the sled.
