Anyone use this? and how is it. The reason Im asking is both my wife and daughter had a chance to ride a new G4 doo and both really liked the throttle size and feel of the Doo compared to the our viper.
Does anyone have any pictures of it installed? Maybe a comparison of the stock vs the conversion. They both said it was easier to get their smaller hands around the throttle.
Thanks

There is a thread. Barn of Parts sells it. I gave my results in that thread. In my opinion a Viper has a stiff throttle vs Winder or many others and the conversion does not help that. May even be worse. I would not use it for a child unless modded. Read the thread.

I had one on my Cat XF9000 and now one on my SW. Love it. Fits my hand better and way less fatigueing.

Allan,
I put one on my 7000 and it fit my hand better. The thumb warmer works a LOT better with Roc's box on it, that sucker will get down right HOT on high! LOL
I did notice the throttle effort was slightly higher, but I never did try the mod that Steve was taking about though.
My situation is different then most in that I have pretty bad muscle atrophy in my right hand due to MMN. That said, the better ergo's and hotter thumb warmer make it a worth while modification for me.
I also have a left hand throttle and sometimes when right thumb gets cold, I'll put my thumb between the flipper and bar. Then use the LH throttle to push the flipper against the back of my right thumb to heat it up off of the back side of the thumb heater. Works great as long as I don't need WOT at the time!
