I hard wired it to the battery so i can keep the backlight on all the time, also got a sd card with Wisconsin trails on it. I got the handle bar mount on ebay, sure is sturdy. Cant wait to go RIDING!!!!

Heh, I JUST mounted my GPS tonight too. It looks the same but it's an older GPSMap 60CS.

I used a RAM mount and actually attached it to the lower windsheild support. The GPS sits flush, directly beside the speedo.

Cool!I need to get a better GPS for those maps.I bet mounted like that you can even read speedo on it easily.

I have a RAM mount on my handlebars with a Magellan Explorist 500 in it. Works great.

I highly recommend the money for a RAM mount if you want to mount a GPS.

I've been wanting a GPS for awhile, but have been waiting for something like a Garmin Nuvi 500 or 550, something I can download topo maps into but with a bigger display so I can view it without coming to a complete stop. I'm still a map/tank bag guy... :o|

Any other brands in a Navigator type design, with downloadable topo maps, and a large display, that withstands the cold?

Rick
