kimpex tracks
i had a two inch sherpaw on a sxr i stretched to 141, it has real stiff paddles. works really well when the snow was stiffening up a little. didnt climb quite as good as the softer camoplasts. stood up real well. i worked for a dealer the winter of 96-97, kimpex was pushing their 1 1/4 track really hard. had alot of the outer belts blow off. kimpex had nothing but excuses for not covering.

I had a ultimate traxtion kimpex on my srx for two seasons. It was a 1" with 144 pre-drilled holes. I studded it with 144--1.18 studs. I ride very aggressive and over minimal conditions at times and it held up WAY BETTER than my RIPJUNK on my apex.
I am trying to decide what track to put on my apex this summer. Not looking forward to this job, it looks complicated! lol!
I am leaning towards camo hacksaw 1" or a kimpex tomahawk 1.25". I'd like to stay with the 1.25" b/c i have 144 brand new woodys megabites--1.450 that I wanna try in my apex.
Keep us updated at what you decide and how it works for you.
Cheers,
Rick.

i'm real interested in the Kimpex Tomahawk it's a 1.10 lug with 108 pre-drilled i bet it would hook awesome with the 1.325 studs and tall nuts, but i'd like to know alittle more about Kimpex

There is a 1.25 tomahawk also with 140 pre-molded holes. Page 158 in royals catalog. Its only 120"long and comes with sprockets.

I'm not sure the Tomahawk is the good track for trail with a lot of snow, slush, not big paddles....
