I'm guessing a loose nut behind the handlebars!!!
lol!
Maybe your track is slipping!?
Check your track tension!

I thought I heard the same thing moving my GT in the garage when I picked it up last week, but I have not had a chance to drive mine yet.

lol.. well my track is good and the nut behind the handle bars is tight at the moment
I did not really get to use/hear it enough to have a better idea whats going on. Just wondered if anyone has though.

That would be my bet.....watch your tracks and re-adjust for at least breakin period.
After they stretch out they stop.

Thats what my 03 RX-1 did on grip. I havent tried the Apex yet. Probably a ratchet, just once or twice on hard acceleration????

yeah it did it on a acceleration. If it was ratcheting wouldnt it do it more then onece? only one lil noise and thats it.
Clunking noise
My guess is that it is the coupling mechanism in the skid. I would suspect it is normal and nothing to be worried about.
