Long Rides on Apex/Attak

My longest ride has been only 85 miles so far, but it was 75% rough. I can't tell you about a 200+ mile run, but I can tell you I NEVER EVER would've rode 85 miles in the conditions that I did last Sunday on my RX. I would've needed to be helicoptered outta there after 20 miles of a rider-behind seating position. I had no problems pounding the trails with the RTX. HUGE difference between the first 50 miles and the next 100 miles in how tight the suspension is. Started very, very stiff (C-clip in 3rd position) now it seems perfect. Rough bumps, set the dial to MAX HARD. Stutters, set it to MAX SOFT, you'll never feel one of them.

What a sled.

Yup my back feels awsome but my knees were shot, dont know if it was the fact that i have not ridden much this year or the fact that i am not in my best shape havent lifted in 5 months or the fact that we were both running very very very hard thru shitty trails that were very wet water filled bump infested trails because of the rain and hot temps 50 degrees on friday,so anyways we both now know the gt and rtx need stiffer rear spring and on the rtx soften up the floats to 50-60 lbs and it will handle better in the turns, and soften up ra to 4 or 5 clicks from full soft thru 2 foot chop but just dont exspect it to take the g- bumps botoms hard on them when comming off a hill on dowward side at the bottom,so all in all two days of hard riding and now 660 miles 360 on thru and 300+ on friday only problem was rtx had loosened up antifreeze cap causing some fluid loss, and bad seal on chaincase and slipping out on reverse, dealer fixed up both and on our way.. ;)! ;)! ;)!
