Looking at doing a backpack trip??

guys I have done back back trips in the past from pictured rock to houghton, and south some. Was wondering if anyone ever tried going from Gaylord to Mackinac island, take the bride over, and ride from Drummond island to say just east of the pictured rocks. Doing a ride fom the main mitten through the east side of the U.P. Is this possible, is it worth it? Thinking of maybe even staying on one of the islands for something different.

If not worth it, might just try a ride from Marquette to big bay, big bay to copper, then down to Boulder juntion area, back to marquette to mix it up.....

I haven't done it myself but I know it's possible. Last year when staying at he ramada in houghton there were some guys there that had ridden there from Grayling.

Start from St. Ignaus ride to Copper Harbor need a group to make easier and safer. We had a Truck and trailer as a chaser and rider tried off, works great
Some of us were older but like to ride worked good for us.

PS truck was for ski doo's
