I'm looking for a good set up for a Nytro RTX SE. I have a Cobra track with 160 1.45 megabites with double backers down the middle. Mostly looking for a performance trail set-up but would like to have a respectable top end for occasional lake races with friends.Any suggestions? Read about Drag n Flies and Supertips can't decide. Also who are the best people to purchase from? Thanks

Just wondering how you like the cobra and 1.450 studs??? I am leaning towards the same setup (but on a apex). Where do you mainly ride? Does the cobra help in deep snow. How is the hook up? seemed to spin alot with ripsaw unless on fresh groom or hardpack. How is the cobra holding up with studs in it? Do the studs and different track affect top end? Are you fully clipped? Do you rund extrovert drivers? if not do you get rattcheting??? Any stud clearance issues? Any clutching changes? What lentgh track?

Like the Cobra so far only 100 miles on hard packed trails. Haven't had in deep snow yet but should be much better than the Ripsaw. Hooks up great on the hardpack. Track is fully clipped and I do have Avid extroverts installed, great not to have to deal with ratchetting anymore. No clearance issues and the track is 121". I would like to clutch it after 500 miles for break in, trying to do my homework now. I would like to get a setup that is pretty close to bolt in and go. I don't know all that much about clutching. Hope this helps.

You might want to give Allen Ulmer a call. He has an excellent set up for the 4-holers in his "Stage II" setup. I can't reacall ever hearing anyone complain about it either. He may have just what your looking for in the line of 3-holers. :)

I have a stage 2 ulme kit for a warrior for sale, I am sure Allen could tune it for a nytro $240 shipped to the lower 48
