looking for mods... but what ones do you recomend?

I agree. A boosted sled is by far the best bang for the buck. I would say Supercharger for trail, and turbo for more lake runs and less trail.

Put a pipe on it $550, add a fuel accelerator $250 and I love my Heel Clicker II clutch kit $229 and add a set of overdrive or speed sheaves to the primary clutch $325.

The pipe adds 5 to 7 hp and sounds like your going 2 times ast fast.

The fuel accelerator allows you to get the maximum out of the changes your making.

The over drive sheaves give you more top end without losing the bottom like changing gears will.

The clutch kit will make you want to put pine tar on the grips so you can hang on.

I have 1 RX with an Apex motor in it and an Attack set up this way. I had to pull the limiter straps way down on all 3 and dial out half of the transfer rods on all of them to kepp the front ends down.

There is nothing out there without nos or a turbo that will pull me on a lake.

Whats wrong with Superchargers for the lake???

I have always thought that a clutch kit / gearing and traction products (studs) will give you the best performance gain for the buck.

No Doubt about it for less than $250 you get a very noticeable gain. And for $500 total increased top end and flat out acceleration.

Nothing, but a turbo will beat it every time. Turbos make more power.

Back to the topic, yeah, studs will for sure increase performance. A lightweight exhaust, etc.

Another avenue to take, is to try to reduce the weight of the sled. This also equals hp gains. Look into some lightweight stuff.
