This is my current setup:
- Pilot skis
- 6" shaperbar down the center and 4" stock carbides on the outsides
- Stock 11mm swaybar
- 96 studs
I also had my skid shocks revalved last year which worked out very well and made the rear suspension work as good as the front. This setup works fairly well but my three main complaints are:
- not always enough bite in the hard corners
- excessive ski lift at times
- pushes like crazy in the powder
The setup I'm going to try this year is:
- Stock skis
- semi-aggressive snow trackers
- 13mm sway bar
I thought of going with extreme snowtrackers but some people commented that they were a little over-the-top on an Apex so I thought the semi-aggressive's might be a better match for a lighter RS-Nytro. I also considered the 12mm swaybar but I read somewhere that the fox floats tend to increase body roll especially if you air them down to decrease ski lift and therefore the 13mm bar should be the better choice
Thoughts??
