- 2018 Sidewinder STX-DX 146
Great day riding today with some friends. Was running second to a 800 Poo all day with a young guy that could handle that sled really good. Next to that thing my STX-DX 146 looks like a motorhome. I kept up fairly well (had to work at it in the twists just to stay in his snow dust). We turned out onto a big open straight away and had a 5mph rolling start where he looked over and I was lined up left. He hammered it and got the 1 sled lead off. I thought to myself this could be embarrassing for me on my 16k sled that I have never dragged vs anyone. But I hit the go paddle anyway and mashed it to the bars. I caught up and then just breezed by. I was actually a little stunned when I just sailed right by him and could pull right in front of him with ease.
A great day for the Sidewinder, the whole gang was looking at the "motor home" a lot different after that run. He said he could hear that turbo spooling as I went by and he knew he was ruined. I love this machine more and more every day. 1360 miles and it is just getting better and better. Hope everyone else is getting the same thrill on their sleds.
