Haven't seen a thread yet on shock settings. The dealer set my LTX-LE on the middle setting on all of the shocks. Only have 14 miles of breaking trail. So, can't really judge set up yet. The one thing I did notice when I put it back in the garage is when I push down on the rear, it does not spring back up. I assume it's due to how it's set up, but does anyone know where the adjustment is for this? Seems to way it is would make big bumps a rough ride versus absorbing them. Seems to me it should rebound right back up if I push on the rear and let go? Forgive my ignorance.

If you had dollies under it, it wont. Sit it flat on the ground.

Thanks. It is on dollies. I'll have to check again when I get home and take it off them. I feel like an idiot. If you had dollies under it, it wont. Sit it flat on the ground.

Thicker the cam = stiffer suspension.

Yea for some reason it must have been too hard or a Friday when they made the mold to have also added 3 #'s. Just turn the blocks clockwise and look at how high the spring is at the block. Using the scissor arm that the block is hooked to as the gauge. If the spring is higher in front of the arm its stiffer. But visually how do you know if it's on the stiffest set up .. the manual is not clear other than saying there are settings .. 1,2,3 but I see no numbers on the cam

Seems sad that Yamaha does not offer ANY suspension tuning info on the LE. Only thing I saw was was spring preload on the center shock, and that is a very minimal amount. Looks like a bunch of TEST riding is in order. Both front and rear rebound settings are in the middle of the range.
