Made my own RAM-AIR kit-Pics intensive!

Ill be here,but the rain is coming i think..mild too....We did some cool hillclimbing on your side of the lake,on the rock cut....you will see one track where i went way up and it was nuts....i barely made it out alive..no scratches, i got lucky!

probably working on matts sled this weekend at least one day...

MAtt might be coming up early and working on sled friday,if all goes well we might even be riding friday???????....its looking like it might be sunny and mild friday..if so,I will truck mine over to LOB to matts and when we finish his sled we can hang all day on lake and dorset shouold be mobbed with water runners....

i heard you took the apex GT thru dorset eh?...wow i never heard of a yammie running water,i guess i was worried about this for nothing,im a mach guy who ran water for years,thought those days were over when i bought yammie.LOL...cool!..call me.

I hope to have my sled put back together and up and running late thursday night or early early friday morning. I want to spend Friday RIDING and not WRENCHING. We will make the most of the mild weather!! lots of snow still and we can cruise lake of bays in our hawaiian shorts and tshirts for all i care!!

Looks like rain here thursday and friday...Saturday is looking like a perfect LOBs day....hang out on the lake and ride..calling for partly sunny and mild...

Roads here are now pretty much beat,lots in trails still and lake has plenty.

Not to sure if I will be coming now. I have some stuff that needs to get done down here.

I didn't do anything with the belly pan of the Apex and she ran great. If I were going to spend the day running it though I may look things over a little more.

Mine doesn't work as well as my dads since I put the Pilot ski's on it. Go figure ski-doo ski's not as good as yammy ski's on water. Matt will have fun that Long track will be great on the water.

I will call you either way, I may come up Mid week next week it looks like it may get better again.

i have one on and it is great, alittle louder but more power, this year i added the cr10ek's, so i waitng to see how they are

Hey all...I had several people asking about the ram air kit i did last winter.....

I wanted to bring this thread back up to top so they can take alook...

I can verify this kit does make the motor much snappier,and also it showed 2-3mph on the radar gun....simply going back to a stock airbox lid slowed me down by over 2mph....so it works.

it is louder then stock upfront,so be aware before you start cutting...but if you hate it,you can always buy another air box TOP section to go back to stock.

IMO it sounds AWESOME!

If anyone isnt sure of any aspect of this simple MOD....just ask!

might try it on mine this year,i have mod to the front bottom of my airbox and a slot in my front end for more air flow but this would be above the foam where the air on mine comes in from below the foam,sounds like its been tested so why not
 
Once again ive had MANY PMS about the ram air kit i designed last season...some people have said it doesnt look so good,in person it looks flawless i assure you...very hard to even notice.the pics with flash really make it look transparent so in real life it does look good...trust me im about the biggest fanatic when it comes to my sled..lol.

I wanted to bring this to top once again so newbies can take alook....and for all who have PMd me...here it is..

IF you have your woman SEW it,im sure it will look even better then my handy work...lol.
