March Demo ride Tailgate/Chili cook II, Everyone is welcome!

A group of us went there in Jan and we did not get very good service or food. It is a long story ask on the next ride.

AHHH Foggys,
I have never had a good meal there and the service is sub par. Not to mention the steaks suck! For the prices they charge I would rather not go.

Besides our chilli was far superior and the cheddar corn bread rocked !!!!

I've noticed it has gone down hill. Back years ago you could get a decent meal there, but I have to agree the last time I was there I was not that impressed. I remember he used to have a good fish fry there but that was a long time ago. I think the one in shingleton was pretty good. The one the year before was too. And yeah...nothing can beat a good home made meal. Especially on your own grill!

The price is right and the Quality time hanging with other TYers is worth its wieght in gold! Save your money and hang with fellow sledders!

Would anyone be interested in turning the Chili cook out in to a Chili cook "Off"? maybe have a little contest? We would have to have non biased judges who have no idea who's chili is who's....... how could this work?..... hmmmm...... Thoughts , Ideas?

I will be bringing Chilli again this year. Not really concerned about a cook off. Just want to hang with friends after some sledding.

OH I gots a special treat for Thrus Tail Gate.

So, Back to the cookout! Thursday will be a burger/Brat kind of evening. If you are thinking of attending please bring your own food for the tailgate. i am sure there will be plenty to share for those who can not or forgot to bring anything. We should have enough grill space! Flyers will be posted on the hotel doors for a reminder! An example is..... Jen and I will bring 1 packs of brats, some buns and a bag of chips. If everyone can do something similar we should be covered! We will cover the napkins, Plates and bowls, along with Ketchup and mustard. Thoughts and ideas are welcomed!
The picture below is from last years cookout.

Well, is anyone interested in doing this again this year? We had a good time last year! We will do a general tailgate on thurs. night, cooking burgers, brats and dogs. Friday night we would like to go out for a fish fry, last ride we went to shingleton and the fish fry was outstanding! And it was only $10. Then on Sat. night we can do a chili cook. Last year we had 4 or 5 different pots of chili.
All that is asked is to contribute to the cookout maybe a few brats or something and if you are interested in bringing a crockpot of chili to see how your recipe compares to others! hmmmm...... maybe a chili cook-off? a little friendly competition? ..........
What do you guys think? feel free to chime in!

Sound like fun Mark!!! So far it looks like my brother, his girlfriend and I are going. I don't know what is going on with Chad at the moment I will keep you posted. We will most likely be rolling in Friday sometime.

I found out that Chad is going. Can't what to see all of you again. I hope it's going to be a good turn out. ;)!
