Guys, there are 3 different marginal snow wheel kits listed. I am looking to add some at the front of the rail, which kit works in this location? SMA-8FT95-00-00, SMA-8FP95-00-00 or SMA-8FA95-01-00???

Just got off the phone with Markham Mower and he said I needed SMA-8FP95-00-00
I'm confused.
SX7001 did you use the SMA-8FT95-00-00 on the front of yours?

I had the same question a few weeks ago...still didnt get a clear answer as far as which wheel kit was needed for the 136" Attak or Apex LTX.......not to hijack your thread.

Here is what I put on mine two years ago.

They seem to work well for me. I've logged nearly 3,000 miles without any issues and I'm still on my original hyfax with life still in them. Smallest area that I can measure is 14mm.

I guess I will order 1 of each kit as there seems to be no difinitive answer and pick the one that fits and return the others.

Or you could use this fitment chart. It's from Port Yamaha's website when viewing the marginal snow wheel kit in their 2013 Accessory Catalog. My guess is that Markham Mower did not take into accout your 08 Apex was an LTX as that model does call for the 8FP kit whereas the 08 LTX calls for the 8FT kit.

On the 08 LTX there are 2 you can use one for the front of the rail an the other towards the back for the long tracks. I put both on mine an at 3200 miles still using the stock slides.

Thanks for the chart, that is awesome. Still does not denote whether it is for the front of the rail or near the back.
Both are different as the ones for the rear have a re-inforcement plate on the rail and the profile of the bracket would be different. Still good information in the chart. When I receive mine, i will post which ones go where so other members can avoid the problems I am having.
