Who has put a 1.5 inch or bigger track on a shortie and what track was it. I want to put the deepest lugs possible just sure which one?

I'm not sure what the answer is, BUT, for sure 2" requires that you drop to 8 tooth drivers.

There is a problem with going to too high of a lug; you won't get any slider lube.

Also, the benefits of going to a deeper lug are minimal compared to going with a longer track.

1.5 inch Camo 9800 9 tooth extro's.

The only change I made was Hartman 136 XC kit. You would need to remove the protector's for a deeper lug.

Blue did you have to cut and clip that track for extros? or did hartman do it for you?

The potectors are still on the sled. There is about 1/8" of clearance at the front. There does not appear to be any marks on them from the track.

I cut it with a utility knife (Lots of blades) and put clips on myself with some clip pliers. If you do this get the Camo clips not aftermaket. The Camo fit better.

Hey Blue, I always thought that we could not fit 1.5 inch height lugs without removing the protectors. Good to hear that we can. 1.5 inch 136 here I come!!

Thanks Blue, you made my day!

It depends on the part # you use, some have the cutouts for protectors some do not

Are you talking about the track?

I think powerhaulic is talking notchs for heat exchanger protectors not windows for extroverts. The 9800 dosent have notchs but some 1.75 and 2 inch tracks do.

Yes, the track. some part #'s have cutouts in the paddles for the protectors some do not. As well as windows full punched or 1/3 punched. You would be surprised how many part numbers there really are in the Camoplast catalog.
