Anyone try one of these silencers. I am looking for a little weight savings but would like to know the dbs or hear it first. thanks rich

We have the snostuff muffs on our rx's and vectors,sound great ,lots lighter.
notice any difference in performance?
How much louder?
Does it sound like a street bike?

There is no perceptible diff in performance although it certainly sounds faster.We had tried gutting them first and though some what louder didn't really sound that good.Sounded a little deeper at low revs and kind of raspy on top.
The Snostuff cans sound just right to me.Loud enough to notice but not irritating to ride for long hauls.Yes a lot like sport bikes.Similiar DB level for the vector and the RX,the triple sounds snarly.
How good or loud anything sounds is kind of subjective but that our take on it.

was the installation easy on the sno stuff pipe cause i see in the book where ya order them it says minor modifications to stock pipe on an RX. i am also looking at one thanks for the info on the pipe

Yes install was pretty easy.Both pipes are cut near the old muffler and the new one clamps on.Takes a little tweaking to get tailpipes lined up but no big deal.

I've got the mbrp.Sounds great,not too loud,lighter.The gaskets under the seat are hard to reuse suggest buying new ones for the install(about $12each)
