My Nytro now has 1017km on the clock and I love the sled more and more.
But I constantly find myself dreamin/thinking of a turbo kit.
How hard is the installation of the kit?
I consider myself as fairly skilled mechanic so I figure I should be able to mount it. But... It has to be 100% perfect.
How many evenings will it take to mount it?
However I do have some concerns:
-If I crash the sled, what will the insurcance say when they find out that the sled has more power then it should have?
-Engine warranty, what if it breaks down? Will it be covered? (guess I will have to talk to my dealer about this)
-Quality and reliability of the MCX kit?
Any opinions appreciated!

I have the mcx 200 apex 2011 kit.
About 18 hrs to install , hardest parts is fitting the aircharge tube , dropping the suspension and refitting the stud protectors if needed.
A great kit , plug in wiring , pump fuel and go.
We went 3400 k since install , flawless and fast.
Inurance dosen't care.

MCX180 doesn't involve any motor work. A little cutting of tunnel and frame. The rest is a pretty straight forward install work. Doing it right it will take you about 25 hours.

Forget to say, quality is very good on the 2011 MCX turbo kits. Are you far away from me?

I talked the local dealer he said that they used 1 1/2 day to mount it, I`ve worked there for a year together them and they ment I should be up to it so I feel confident
The only thing being "tricky" was that the exhaust had to be removed, then put it back on, then spot-weld the exhaust onto the turbo flange, then remove it and weld it properly and then put it back on=)
I hope I will be able to mount it on 3 evenings after work so that I can ride it next weekend. Will probably get the kit on Tuesday so... .
I live north in Nordland close to the border to Troms. (live on and island called Tjeldøya, an hour drive from Harstad)
