Hopefully by the beginning of next week we should have information for our electronic air pressure adjustment system for the Fox Mega Float rear shock! This will allow you to easily dial in your air pressure or change your air pressure without digging for your pressure gauge/pump on the trail, simply a flip of a switch! More information coming next week!

Would that work on my mega with an older sled?

Will it be possible to link this system to the Fox Floats on the front as well?

Maybe a good idea and sure facilitates adjustments, but do we really want another wire going through the skid?

Yes it will!

I am going to try this as an option as well, until I get a chance to try it, I can't say for sure (although I don't see why it wouldn't work).

There will be no wires running through the skid at all.

I'm liking this Allen.
Great idea. I was not looking forward to manual adjustment for different conditions on the Megafloat.

What about the current procedure necessitating all weight be off the skid when adjusting the pressure? If we're adjusting on the fly, this obviously will not be possible. Will we be getting an accurate measurement?

It seems like you would have to come up with a new number to represent the pressure with you on it. Would probablky have to stop 1st. Allen is researching the fill with weight issue, Yamaha has told him it could damage the shock seals. On my Ohlins EC dealer told me to stop before I adjsuted it. Thay may be concerned with a pressure spike in the shock at the time when a fill port is open, pressurizing a seal more than intended.

Just a few pictures. If you are in the area of Novi, MI this weekend stop by and check the setup out!

What is the diameter of the pressure gauge in the second photo.
I was thinking about utilizing that same location for a gauge serving a different purpose.

They call it a 1-1/2" diameter gauge, it took a 1-5/8" hole diameter to mount it.
