A thought about the meth system for trail riders had me thinking. I understand that when the boost reaches the 8lbs or the incoming setting the meth is supposed to start pumping until back below the introduction level. Then kick in again when you pull the throttle again. Which make perfect sense for a mountain guy, or a drag racer. Being they are under a straight pull, calling for continuos boost. What happens though when you go in to a corner under the introduction point, come out and crack the throttle to the introduction point then level back down when cruising and keep doing that over and over. Is the meth pump acting quick enough to be throttle on and throttle off to increase the octane every time you need the higher ratings. I can see on a closed loop system like a fuel injection system for fuel, but how does that relate to the style of pumps the meth companies use? I know guys have been using this on the trail for a while, but I thought I could use a little clarifying on this. Since I am running 91 octane and meth and have already lived through a bad fuel issue in the past. The thoughts that keep snowmobilers at night thinking LOL

Think of the pump spool time, its electrical and can go from off to on in fractions of a second, if it can react fast enough to get it there on time that is all you need. If you let up and its still spraying for the millisecond, who cares, then when your back on it again the engine will suck it in so fast the gap in time it takes for the meth to get there is so minute and the engine will survive on that for the millisecond of time.
Your fine.
That is one issue of meth I am scared to run is if that pump fails your SOL unless you can figure out how to quickly blow off more boost then your SC is making to keep it out of the engine. There are ways for this as well.
On rxriders turbo he has his meth wired in to his wastegate and if the system sees the meth not flowing it reduces his boost to pump gas safe level. That is amazing to me, very nice system he has.

I heard you could wire the meth and the bov some how through a prologger is what Mac at MPI said in the past. I wonder if what Rxrider has working on his turbo could be modified to work on a SC setup? Sound interesting. Thanks for the help Kinger

I am running a meth kit stage on my mc express apex w a 174 extreme. I ride in revelstoke b.c and climb some long pulls. I also need to have a quick response to throttle chop in climbs with turns and obstacles. I ride in deep backcountry boondocking. I have no problems w hitting my start spray settings and off and on again. No sputtering etc. I have noticed on a long pull and once to the top of a climb. I let off the throttle and will have a little sputtering for a secound, when initially throttle again.I find my low level led flicker in steep pulls, but expected, doesnt stay on.
