Midwest snow report

Up a gogebic yesterday. The lake is an endless salt flat. Just a few spots with some pressure ridges but plenty of room in between to air it out. trails were so so with LOTS of traffic

The traffic is my biggest worry next week. Not sure if I want to ride at night but I want to get in some miles.

Hit little Saint today. Put the smack down on dooz lol hit a few fine establishments. Lake was nice and smooth life is good!

H58 sounds like some b.s. trail with 10" of pow that hasnt been ridden all season long. TF, don't let him lure you into that crap. He's probably running a 2.25" inch lug on a extended 146" track.

Hell, how about walking into the Buckhorn and sitting down across from TF at the bar!
Met some friends there for a couple beers and we talked for about hour and half.

And not knowing who he is until he sends you a message couple days later to thank you for information on where to ride in a new area.

As luck would have it, we were fortunate to pick the right place to stay (AmericInn Wetmore) with a huge parking area for our semi-size 6 place enclosed Trails West trailer.

It was just awesome!

The trails in that area are really nice to get out for a good ride. My fuel mileage goes down when out on the big trails!

Yep, those big trails were not a good place to save gas, not that we cared at all. Just great to be riding! My little kitty on Stage 4 only did about 9-10 MPG. In her defense, I wasn't very conservative running the fun flipper!! He who burns the most gas is having the most fun! Lol.

So....I thought I may make it out next week. Im just not good enough at -10° to start the day. Welp....nothing I can do about it.
Looks like southern wis may have gotten some snow. I'll have to see how that pans out.

I'm sure the trails are rideable, but don't have high expectations. Lakes are good, there just isn't that much snow for the trails. The snow we got last weekend was powder, and the further north & west didn't get as much. Iron County might get some LES the next couple days because of how cold it is with a north wind off of Superior. My $.02
