I'm happy you're able to make that journey TF. There's a place called foggy's in the town of Christmas. Used to be a real popular place where you pick a cut of meat, season it the way you like it, and grill it on this gigantic grill, yourself.
Info is just in case you find yourself wanting to do something different.
Make a stop at the buckhorn around lunch or dinner. Still a very popular destination. Also a great ⛽ stop. Gas is getting turned over constantly here.

The bear trap in singleton a good stop also and Jackpine to the south has a great burger. If u go to jack pine go downstairs and visit “engine Joe” lol

While I was out there, someone told me to head to the Bear (something or other) so I made a run to the Bears den. Ugh!! Lol.
But I heard the bear trap has a great breakfast. And is just up the road from the bears den.
I hear the trail (7) to Jack pine is still a little thin. And that guys are using the alternative trail around the East side to get there. Idk

This picture is on trail 8 west of Grand Maria's.
In the photo you can see the 8 on the orange trail marker.

TF, all these trail will be groomed up pretty smooth during the week. Plenty of snow and destinations to go to.
 
Yup. Got groomer tracker. Best so far Melstrand to Grand Marais. 100 and above! Following groomer. Lots of traffic.

That's nice..... trails open that far south (Minoque) sure would be nice.
