A very optimistic forecast. Better get the sled loaded up...just saying! Lol.

Doing my best to stay positive. I'm heading back to wax my boggies
Send some positive vibes my way! My biggest concern is the water holes that will open up before this blast of snow. I have not a chance of getting on through trail 11S to get to 2. Think feet of water on this trail. UP is really wet in a lot of areas... Be lots of good spacebook posts of sleds sunk in 3-4 feet of water on trails by me.. Better not see a sidewinder with over waxed boogies half sunk!

At least stop and give the poor guy a hand...

Well hate to be the bearer of bad news. Not a chance it’s going to be rideable in the UP Christmas or new years. Think mid January maybe. No snow and the lakes are thawing quick. 50 for two days and rain coming. Been above freezing and raining on and off here since I got up yesterday. Merry Christmas and pray for cold. We gonna need it.

Last year Christmas Eve. You don’t want a picture for this year. Trust me.

I just got back from Duluth, along North shore of Lake Superior, Thunderbay, and then 200 miles to the North West and there is no winter anywhere just drizzle and fog...who would have thought...

I'm watching something brewing now. It will be heading into Wyoming & South Dakota. Long-term model says it's going to head north from there. It could clip the UP.
Don't shoot the messenger.....

It's almost like the climate is changing.

"I'm packing my bags, checking them twice. Gonna find out if the trails look nice..." Da da da.... hahaha!
