Mirrors for the Apex

Try Arctic Cat's compact "inside your windshield mirrors". I put them on my daughter's F-6 and they looked and worked so well I put one on my Apex. $16.95 on page 113 of the 2009 Arctic Cat accessory book. Part #4639-565.

Interesting. How do they mount? Look like attached to the windshield? Presume mirrrors are adjustable for view.? Sometimes mounted too close in, mirrors can't see past the rider.
 
I'm still struggling withwhat I want to do with mirrors. I don't have any just using a wrist one. I ordered and put on the OEM ones for the Attak but they stink and took them off. Now I have 3 holes on each side off hood. Yami could have designed a better bracket for the right angles needed. The hood is flimsy plastic so any great stress from longer brackets etc. would probably crack them while riding.
I miss my the way the Vmax has them they worked good and were out of the way.
 
To check out the Arctic Cat compact mirrors go to their website and go to accssories. Search for mirrors. They mount with two small screws with cap covers. They are adjustable after installation. Mount them on the inside of your windshield where you have the best view to the rear. Sitting on my Apex seat I can see behind me without removing my hand from the bars.
 
I was talking about the yammi mirrors on the canadian yammaha website.
Thanks. I might end up w/artic mirrors if I can't find that screw adapter in the states.

Which ones were they? Got a name or number?They have different ones.
The ones below are AC's inside but have 2 numbers.

I'll check them out. I did try Artic Cat's windshield mounted ones from a Panther 4 stroke touring sled and they wouldn't sit right on my windshield and were they would go the windshield was very thin and would have made the windshield wobble back and forth probably breaking it. If I remember right they were outside of windshield.
 
I put the large black Nytro hand gaurds on my Apex and then the yamaha mirrors that fit the hand guard aluminum frame. Had to tweak the angle and fit a little - Nytro bars are different than Apex- they look good and I can see behind myself in the shed. LOL

So far, expensive but look good and work great in the shed for seeing behind me.

any of you guys have any trouble putting the cover on after you install these guards and mirrors? just talked to the dealer today and they said they put mirrors on a sled but them the cover wont go on. that doesnt make much sence to me.
 
sporster64, I drove to Canada to get a set. The Yamaha mounts are made by EMGO. My father just bought a couple of sets from I think JR Granhm. The mounts were listed in the ATV catalog. There are the same. I saw them. You have to understand a little about the different mirrors. Yamaha mirrors are a right handed thread and a Left handed thread. That means if you order Yamaha mirrors you have to order the Yamaha mounts. But if you order two right hand thread mounts you can order ANY (execpt yamaha) mirrors one right and one left. They both have right handed threads. ANY , Honda, Kaw or after market mirror with 10mm threads will work. You just need to order one right hand mirror and one left hand mirror. They will both have right handed threads. I should be seeing my father this weekend. I'll try to remember to got the part numbers for the mounts. I tried posting picture but my picture are too large to post.
 
Do the AC mirrors come in both a left and right hand? It appears by the picture that it mounts on one side. Maybe you can twist the bracket 180 degrees and it will work for both left and right.
