Mirrors for the midheight yamaha sidewinder windshield

Once more i will try and find a combo of options for mirrors on the winder. the most productive area to install mirrors is on the wing of the shield,and if not there,than on the hood somewhere that provides a clear view. Can anyone provide pics of there mirror location on there winders. Thanks Beast. Oh just for ref. my shield is 11" vertical from the control panel and is 29" wide side to side,w/ a small area of like 3"x6" at corner that may work for the mirror.

Hi fabio,can you give me any info about where you bought them,and were they for the sidewinder,or just ones that you got to work,that is what i am looking for,my shield does look to be a tad taller than yours.

Is yours the medium shield ? Would look just like mine but the centre of the shield is higher on the medium one.

Those are Yamaha mirrors from there accessories catalog, they work on both the medium sport and medium windshield.

If yours is the medium windshield you should have 4 dimples markings on each side where you would have to drill to install the mirrors.

I dont think mine has the dimples,but it is a yamaha shield,medium height,do you know what height is from top of pod to top of shield? But like you said,it most likely dont matter how tall it is,as long as it accepts the 4 places to drill those holes! Babbitts online or they now call it yamaha parts house has the kit,but the complete kit w/mounting hardware is $136.83 plus tax and shipping,not cheap but that would be the set i need. Looks like each mirror needs 4 holes drilled to attach each mirror.

That’s seems a lot. Here in Canada they are like $120 and dealer gave them to me for $100.

The height looks similar,but the line on the outside seems a little sharper than mine,mine seems more rounded on the outside,but i dont think that would much matter,do you?

Last January, I just checked and they are still $126 Canadian so should be cheaper in the US.

Yes that sure looks like it,and with the color outline from the pics,mine looks more like the tall blue lined one,like i said,the outside line was more round along that edge.
