Mirrors for the midheight yamaha sidewinder windshield

I’ve seen guys with Yamaha mirrors on the tall windshield but they are angled down a bit when installed, I think it has to do with the way the tall windshield is formed.
I’ve also heard it’s not recommended to install the mirrors on the tall windshield as it’s thinner plastic than the medium or medium sport windshields and it could crack.
Yes some our trails are slowly starting to open, I was out yesterday and today riding.

Fabio -ditto BTW - Mainedrummer image has changed on newer machines. The image does not show the GT and maybe other changes Like Fabio said another TY thread suggested installing mirrors on production [thinner] windshields are crap and subject to mirror vibration compared to the accessory windshields (the dimples).
