hey guys I just got a an apex ltx with the blower. It has 2300miles on it what should I be checking before I go take it for a ride? I want to make sure everything is ok before I go ahead and install my spare zx2. Also I noticed the hoses to the gems is cracked what and where do I find new hose. Thanks.

only run premium, make sure the blower oil is clean and full, give it an oil change if it hasnt had one, double check blower belt and drive belt for frays or problems, check pulleys to be sure they are tight and check the upper pulley bearing. Be sure the inter cooler is on nice and snug and go ride the #*$&@ out of it.2008 I was told with the pulleys on it is at 7lb

In addition to what sled said, pop the chain case cover off and check the chain. My MPI set up at 10lbs eats chains every two years. Stinks they are $120 each but price for fun I guess
Also if that hose is cracked check to make sure all the other hoses around the throttle bodies are zip tied and in good shape. Just a small leak there will cause it to hunt for idle. I know its a PITA but it wouldn't hurt to pop the plugs and see how they look. Replace with new gapped at .030 seems to work well.
