On the way home from work in Munising tonite, I took the real long way home, via Grand Marais, Seney, Boot Lake to Manistique. I saw a few flakes up north and it looked nice and dark over the Lake. We need that N.W. wind they are talking about starting up late tonite.

Fingers are crossed for everyone making the journey north. Hope to see you this weekend

Oh, by the way, IT'S STARTING..............was just outside with the dogs and it's started snowing.........not super heavy or anything but steadily..... Mrs. Buddah just got home from in town and says it's snowing there too..........

I got a clean slate this weekend and it is snowing right now, 6am Thursday. So you just might see me! (Lucky you)!!!!! Hey, I rode up your driveway between Christmas and News Years when I was out riding but no one was home.

Maybe I will do a property inspection at the Mid Way store this morning.

Well the overnight snow was a tad disappointing........down here......haven't heard about up in town as yet..........maybe johnboy can comment.......he actually did stop in this morning and is headed that way........I have to go in later today so I can check it out then too..........

We are at the Comfort Inn, got in last night. Last nights snows were not as predicted but at 5 am this morning it was Snowing like crazy! We seem to be in the classic lake Effect squall pattern sometimes it is snowing so hard that you can not see across the parking lot and other times just flurries. It is windy so it is hard to guage how much snow actually fell last night but I would guess 2". The local forcast is calling for 1 -2 feet starting this evening until saturday morning. hopefully that N/NW wind starts blowing!

that might be tough...it's funny, cause i was considering scrapping this whole TY ride and just going up to hurley next week. but this 'new' snow changed those plans. i already have plans with a group of guys to go up(your welcome to come too) the weekend of the 22nd (i've posted this on FB). that would make it 3 weekends in a row if i went with you next week. is this your trip where there is like....10 people going?
i did mention it too my bro...he is not crazy about anyone staying there unless one of is there too.....unfortunatley
