My Simons CPR Attak on dyno, WOW

The heat coming out of the vent is very minimal. Surprising how cool it runs. I ride 300 mile days and had no problems with the CPR rx-1 turbo, other than kicking out a track. I don't think you could run a 300 HP kit here with our 92 octane fuel here in the USA. I feel very confident about this package as long as I use my head. It is possibly too much for the 1.25" ripsaw though. I just can't get over how sweet it runs.

SOUNDS good, hope it is as good as it sounds. I know CPR has proven on the track, and I know jeff knows his stuff, so it should work on the trails, but we just had to much problems with frontmounts in the early years, off course things improve, and I'm actually seriously thinking about jeff's kit, but there are so many for and against.

Well, you can't run it on 92, you have to use YOUR 95, wich is like our 98 octane.

You dont have any studs? how does it hook up?

We don't have 95 octane pump fuel. Just 92 @ r+m/2, and that is what I'm going to run. You can't run wide open for more than a couple seconds anyway as it will chuck the track right out from under it. Yes, it is studded. 180 well placed 1.325" mega-bites under a 136" track. I know how to make them hook, but you can only do so much with carbide studs. Can't wait to prey on the unsuspecting. It is just amazing to me that this thing makes more power than my old pro-stock race sleds that had to run on race fuel. You can just cruise right along about 70 on the dream meter just tickling the throttle above idle. 90 MPH would is less than 1/4 throttle. Still can't quit laughing. Mike Knapp#17

You must think your talking to an idiot mulot. Go back to your sled you cant make run and want to sell. If you are talented enough to run 85g. in a 220 Hp machine, you should be able to figure out a way to get it to run. You are making a fool of yourself. I think I know more than a few things about horsepower and clutching. 24 ISR World Drag Championships, and multiple speed records would attest to that. Mike Knapp#17

Mike, I'm killing myself laughing right now , this Mulot is like a stupid cat : kick him once and he comes back for another !!! Maybe he doesnt understand clutching 101 , big weight big spring , but big weight small spring = big power !! anyway have fun and be safe on that monster !!

molut whereis that big expensive apex anyway. thats all we heard on here now its gone and now we are being schooled on a rx1. if i were selling turbos i wouldnt sell to you. you make a good product look bad cause of inexperience at wrenching to much computer wizardry. ha ha ha

156 Track hp with with 220 engine hp is not possible , you obviously dont have a clue ! I have my own Track Dyno and know how to use it , and can quarentee it cant be done . I have pretty well one of the fastest Prostock 1000 racesled currently in exsistance and just make over 150 track hp with 270 engine hp .

Listen guys...

If any one here can make the trip here, and make my turbo apex (boondocker GT28RS kit) produce 260hp on 11# of boost on the dyno (here, not your dream meters dynos!) then I'll pay all your expenses and even beer :)

Isn't that a good deal?

What kind of beer?

Really, what's the point? Mike is just trying to give some feedback on Jeff's new kit. Considering his experience with some of the other boosted offerings on the market as well as his race resume, I think his impressions of this (or any other kit) should hold some weight. Is he really getting the power his dyno shows? Dunno, didn't watch the sessions. I think it is pretty safe to say that Mike has probably spent more hours on a dyno in a season that a lot of people spend riding. I would also think he is a slightly tougher guy to impress that most when it comes to bolt on HP. Put those two together and I take it as a pretty strong endorsement of the CPR kit. 230 Hp or 260 HP or whatever it would make on your dyno to me isn't as important as how well it works 'out of the box'. Lots of posts on here (and in my inbox) from guys that are chasing some issue with their setup. If I'm going to spend +5K on something that I can only use for a small part of the year, I would want it to work right - right now. From what I'm reading in this post it sounds like that is what Mike got, and that is WAY more important to me than the numbers.

I think they must run Quebec dyno's in French, cuz there's another Quebec guy on snowest that sounds just the same. "Everybody is posting false dyno readings, you can't make that much HP, Blah Blah Blah".

moluth i dont drink so wont take the beer but i am leaving soon to run 1000mile trail run up into gaspe. brin g sled up and ill bring it home and fix for you. put that thing on engine dyn o give us some results. my gt28rs powderlites is running so sweet im thrilled.

mike glad you like your kit. simmons does have top notch quality bar none. email me i have some more info to give you thats probly better than that vortech info.

maybe depends but12 will give260 if theres not to much pressure drop across intercooler. i know for sure have seen it on engine dyno.
